Shanghai (PSA) power station of art gallery. Building once site of Nan’shi power plant set up in 1897. After renovation, new gallery opened Oct 2012. It aims to show achievements of domestic and international contemporary artists with final exhibition area 15,000 meters. Show information – themed exhibition composed of four parts, namely “resourced” “revisit” “reform” and “republic”. Total 98 artists (grouped) from 27 countries taking part duration. 1st oct 2012 to 31st march 2013 “reactivation” results and reflects resources factors of livelihood modes from the perspective of “energy”.
Gallery will serve, as source for the development of cultural and creative industries through which shanghai will become bridge between contemporary art and the public edited source – exhibition organizer. Also, see – www. powerstationofart.com.
